Kasarani, Nairobi · Established 2016
Building peace. Empowering people. Transforming communities.
We are a community organization working with young people, women and families on peace, skills and the ordinary problems that show up where we are asked to help.
The office is in Kasarani. Recent activities have been in Mathare, Korogocho and Mwiki. Since 2016 the wider project work has reached 10 counties.
The work sits in six areas. Most of it is training, mentorship and follow-up with a group that already exists in the community.

Mathare
A sensitization forum with facilitators, local leaders and peer mentors. 122 young people already using drugs were counselled and linked to follow-up.

Mwiki
Parents and caregivers from separated families worked through responsibility, communication and co-parenting. A second set of sessions dealt with the stress that comes with a split.
